Bob Hope Legacy Reading Program
Headed to the Post Office with two bags filled with stories that service members will be sharing with their children even when they are physically separated. The Bob Hope Legacy Reading Program provides the service members with the opportunity to be video-recorded reading a story. The video and storybook are then mailed to the child at no cost to the service member. The video provides both the child and the service member parent/grandparent the ability to continue sharing the special bond of reading a story together; whether the child is missing that loved one or their routine has been interrupted due to AT, Drill Weekend, Deployment….
