Yellow Ribbon Event Marine Combat Logistics Battalion 25
Through the USO of Indiana’s Bob Hope Legacy Reading Program, Service Members first chose a book to read to their children and then were taped as they read that book. A DVD was made from the recording so that their children can have their deployed mom or dad read to them anytime, anyplace. The DVD and book was given to the Service Member to give to their family when they leave on deployment to help keep them connected to their family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.
We also gave out many care packages to the Service Members and their families that were provided by the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Rotary.
The Bob Hope Legacy Reading Program is available at many USO Centers, any Service Member who would like to take advantage of this program should contact their nearest USO Center to determine availability.
