USO Indiana Continues COVID-19 Outreach
The week of March 21st, USO Indiana hit the road to reach the far ends of the state to find the remaining service members serving on COVID-19 missions. A couple of groups of National Guardsmen have been on this mission for months and continue to serve in this capacity at State Hospital facilities. USO Indiana was able to meet them at their hospitals and provide some snacks and Gatorade while working on their shifts. The National Guardsmen were excited to have this morale boost as they continue to work on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. In contrast, many other service members on COVID orders have returned to their regular lives. USO Supply Drops help to provide a light at the end of the tunnel for National Guardsmen who expect to be on these orders through the summer.
