Indy Honor Flights
Eleven USO Indiana Volunteers were excited to serve breakfast to the 87 veterans and 87 handlers for the Indy Honor Flight on April 16h, 2022. Volunteers served coffee, juice, eggs, donuts, biscuits & gravy before everyone boarded the buses and headed to the Indianapolis International Airport for their chartered plane. All USO volunteers waved as everyone left the event. It was an early morning but so rewarding to see all the veterans who were off to visit the war memorials in Washington. All attendees were in great moods, some were singing, and everyone had a big smile. USO Indiana is happy these events are finally back after two years!
